Declaration of Beliefs

We Believe:

• All scripture is given by the inspiration of God in both Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible. John 1:1;  II Timothy 3:16

• In the one true God who is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient.  Psalms 139:7-12; Jeremiah 32:17, 27; Ephesians 4:6, I John 3:20

• On the Lord Jesus Christ (the only begotten Son of God). St. John 3:16

• The virgin birth of Jesus Christ to be true according to the word and spirit.  Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23

• That in the Lord Jesus Christ dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily (the deity) Colossians 2:9

• The witness of His death, burial, and bodily resurrection. I Corinthians 15:3,4

• The Holy Ghost to be the Divine Third Person of the Godhead sent as Comforter for the Church.  St. John 14:26; I John 5:7

• All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23

• Salvation is provided by God’s grace through one’s faith in Jesus Christ and the shedding of His blood for all mankind.  St. John 3:16, 17; Ephesians 2:8,9  Hebrews 9:22

• In sanctification subsequent to the new birth (salvation) declaring holiness as God’s standard of living for all.  Leviticus 20:7; I Thessalonians 5:23;  I Peter 1:15-16

• In the baptism with the Holy Ghost. Act 1:5; Acts 2:1-4

• The church consists of all who have received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior by confession of sin, repentance with Godly sorrow and belief on His Holy name. John 1:12, Romans10:9, 10; II Corinthians 7:10

• We believe in the law of (agape) love for all mankind. Matthew 22:37-40;

• In water baptism by immersion. Matthew 28:19; Matthew 3:13-16

• In the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) Matthew 26:30;

I Corinthians 11:23-26

• In the washing of the saint’s feet.  John 13:4-9, 14

• That divine healing is made possible for everyone in the atonement.

• In the ministry of deliverance. Psalm 34:19, 20; Ephesians 4:11;

• In the ministry of evangelism. Matthew 28:19,20; Ephesians 4:11;

• In the ministry of giving which includes tithes, offerings and general service to God. Malachi 3:8-11; Luke 6:38

• In the gifts, the fruit, and the witness of the spirit (Holy Ghost). Romans 8:16; I Corinthians 12:1-11; Galatians 5:22-23; I John5:6; Acts 8:17

• In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus to resurrect the dead in Christ, and also those which are alive and remain. I Thessalonians 4:16, 17

• In the millennial reign of Christ on earth for 1000 years. Revelations 20:6

• The witness of God’s love and wrath as final judgment. Romans 3:23, Ephesians 5-6; Revelations 20:11-15

• In the creation of the New Heavens and the New Earth. Isaiah 65:17; II

• Marriage to be honorable in God’s sight and to be between a man and a woman physically as when you were born from the womb of your mother. Genesis 1:27-28, Matthew 19:4-6
